FAIRBAIRN, Helen Irene (nee Scott)

 Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, in her 92^nd year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Fairbairn (2006). Loved mother of the late Elaine (Melvin) Boys, Ralph (Jeannette) Fairbairn, and Sheila MacIntyre (Dwane) all of Guelph. Loving grandmother of Nadine (Savvas) Triantafyllides, Kathryn (Armando), Boys, Steven (Victoria) Fairbairn, Karen (Bruce) Weissman, Matthew (Jodi) Boys, Andrea (Steven) Flaming, Holly Dawson (Neil), Krystal (Kevin) McNey and Sarah MacIntyre. Great grandmother of Nadine and Aidan Barg, Christian and Daniel Triantafyllides, Mikayla and Madison Weissman, Chloe Flaming, and Armando Boys. Predeceased by sister Lila Scott and brother Harold Scott.  Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Friday from 7-9 p .m.  Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.  Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Riverside Glen for the care and compassion shown to Helen for the past two years.
