Passed away at the Groves Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 at the age of 84 years. The former Elsje Spikman was the beloved wife of John R. Farnworth. Proud mother of Carla Warnholtz (Richard) of Guelph, R.J. (Sarah) of Ancaster and DJ (Louise) of Guelph. Cherished Omie of Matthew (Hanna), Jonathan (Stacey), Alysha (Trevor), Timothy (Victoria), Weston, Hannah, Elliot, Owen. Loved Great Omie of Levi, Micah, Eden, Hezekiah, Willem and Henrik. Dear sister of Rose Vanderweit and Margaret Powell of Guelph and the late Hennie, Clarence and Richard.
Her gift from God was her hospitality.

Friends may call at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Sunday from 1-4pm. The funeral service will be held at the Guelph Bible Conference Centre 485 Waterloo Ave. Guelph on Monday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m. Private interment Coningsby Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to MS Society of Guelph, Hockey Ministries Ontario (in memory of Alice Farnworth, HMI Ontario Chapel Fund) or Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson Research, would be appreciated.
