Fred peacefully passed away on February 28th after a courageous 3-year battle with cancer.
Fred retired from the Guelph Police Service where he worked in many areas but he especially enjoyed his time as a platoon sergeant. He loved sports and excelled in many. He was a fountain of knowledge when it came to sports trivia - long before Google! Fred also loved time at his cottage - motorcycling, ATV'ing, fishing, swimming and snowmobiling. His family and friends will truly miss his quick wit and sense of humour.
Fred is survived by his wife Donna, sons Brett (Vicky), Jeff (Jenna) and granddaughter Beatrix.
At Fred's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service or visitation. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth. He deeply loved his many pets so for those who wish, a donation to your local Humane Society would be appreciated.
