FERRANTONE, Nicoletta

December 6, 1942-September 5, 2016  

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nicoletta Ferrantone, who succumbed after a courageous battle of cancer at Guelph General Hospital, at the age of 73. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband and soul mate Alberto of 57 years, and her children Angela Fimiani (Anthony), Marisa Di Ilio (Daniel), Domenic Ferrantone (Grace), and David Ferrantone (Melissa). She was the proud grandmother of Sarah, Matthew, Stephen, Bryan, Austin, Connor, and Luca. Daughter of the late Angela and the late Rocco Caravaggio. She will be missed by her brother Eusebio Caravaggio (the late Amelia), her sisters Lucia Caravaggio (Silvio), Eva Martelli (Guilio), and Maria Caravaggio (Nicola). All her nieces and nephews, family, and friends will lovingly miss her. 

Nicoletta lived her life enjoying time spent with family and friends. Her relationships were most dear to her heart. Special thanks to Dr. Kukreti, Dr. Falconi, and the entire team at Princess Margaret Hospital and the staff from 7 East at Guelph General Hospital. 

The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Nicoletta will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. Entombment in Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
