It is with heavy hearts that the family of Anna (Ninetta) Liberatore Ferrara of Guelph, announce her passing on November 28, 2021, twelve hours shy of her 104th birthday, with her family by her side. Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Ruggiero Ferrara and her brother Giuseppe and his wife Gilda of Italy. She was the loving mother of Maria Bartolomucci (Paolo Roscetti and the late Eddy), Bruna Barzotti (Vincenzo), Teresa Fantini and Graziana Ficcaglia (Francesco). She will be missed by her 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, who all loved their Nanna with all their hearts. She will also be missed by all her many close friends that she has touched in her life. Anna was born on November 29, 1917 in Villa Santa Maria and immigrated to Canada in 1953, where she brought with her all the Italian traditions. She worked hard all her life and was the family matriarch and role model. Her family feels very lucky and blessed that she was able to live a long and healthy life until the end. The memories we have will never be forgotten.
