Passed away, after a lengthy illness, in Barrie, Ontario, on Saturday, August 20th, 2016. Laura Ferris, age 48 years, was the beloved mother of Amanda Worboys (Joey), Kenneth, Alysha, and Zachary. She was the loving grandmother of Leah and Ryan. Laura is survived by two sisters, Dianne Peeling (Robert) and Joan Marsh (Ian), and by two brothers, James Kennedy (Corinne) and David Kennedy (Olga), and by her father Gerry Kennedy. She was predeceased by her mother Mary (nee Connolly) Kennedy (2008) and by her brother Michael Kennedy (1990).
Friends are invited to meet with the family at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, August 25th, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Laura will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at ____ p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady, 28 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Friday, August 26th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
