It is with great sadness that Sharleen’s family announce her passing on Friday, July 8, 2022.

She will be forever missed by her husband of 61 years Gordon Field, son Ron Field (Sharon) of Winnipeg and daughter Lynda Field of Guelph.   Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her great joy,  Christine Jackson (Nate Green) and Katie Field (Nathan Black) of Winnipeg,  Ron (Joanne), Monica and Sarah Field, Alicia Roy, Angela (Nate Eyton-Jones) and Alexandria Hirtle of Guelph; her great grandchildren Jaden and Natalie Bartholomew, Jaxon and Silas Eyton-Jones of Guelph and Aiden and Owen Green of Winnipeg.

Sharleen will be dearly missed by her sisters Dana Schmidt (Don-deceased in 2020) of Waterloo and Mary Lynn (Ralph Groen) of Grand Bend.  Sharleen was predeceased by her father Edward “Ted” Heffernan in 2007 and her mother Marjorie Heffernan in 2020.

Sharleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.   Her family brought her great joy.  She was a very talented water colour artist, seamstress, stain glass crafter and a quilt maker.   She was a Master Doll Maker.   She made beautiful porcelain dolls which were hand painted and she also made wigs, clothes and shoes for them.  She won ribbons for her dolls and was featured in Doll Maker magazine, her creations were amazing and shared with each member of her family.

Cremation has taken place.  A family Celebration of Life will be held.

The family cannot thank Hospice Wellington enough for the care and caring given to Sharleen and her family during her last days.

If desired, Memorial Donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
