Of Guelph, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Village of Riverside Glen on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of 62 years to Katherine (nee Towill). Loved father of Susan Finlay (Glenn Legault), Julie Young (Doug) and Andrew Finlay (Dawn Roseby). Cherished grandfather of Elio, Aidan, Katie (Steven), Emma (James), Matthew, Kenneth and Daphne and great grandfather of James.
Wallace immigrated from Scotland to Montreal, raising his children in Deux Montagnes, Quebec. The family spent 25 years in Kingston before moving to Guelph. He worked as an engineer. He was a railway enthusiast, an avid reader and was active with the Boy Scouts. He loved camping and the outdoors. Wallace was a devoted husband, a loving father and a true gentleman.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Ellen Lee and the caring staff at Riverside Glen for their compassionate care.
