On Sunday, September 8, 2019, Erna’s journey on earth was completed and she is now at peace with the Lord. Predeceased by her husband Jozef (2012) and her son Ted (2000). Erna was the beautiful mother to Irene, wonderful mother-in-law to Cam Pica and amazing Babcia to Zigg and Sara. Nicol, her husband Jason Blais and their children, Samantha and Jessica, will miss their grandmother and great-grandmother dearly.
Erna will be greatly missed by all those who knew her, especially by everyone who called her Babcia.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph, on Wednesday September 11, 2019, from 4-8pm. There will be a prayer vigil for Erna at 7:45pm. A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St, Guelph, on Thursday September 12, 2019 at 11am, followed by interment and a light lunch at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
