It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dorothy Fulton on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2016 peacefully at Riverside Glen Nursing Home in Guelph, Ontario. Dorothy (nee Ostrander) was born in Guelph on October 5, 1924 and was the beloved wife of 68 years to the late David Fulton (May 17, 2016). Loving mother of Karen (Larry) Patteson and the late Barry Fulton (2000). Loving grandmother of Shannon Biffis, Jennifer (Kevin) Connelly and David Patteson. Great grandmother of Nico, Sofia, Anoki, Lincoln and Abigail. Dear sister of Emily Bolzon , Frederick Ostrander, Eric (Deb) Ostrander, Edna (Jack) Youngblut, Frances (Tom) Bates. Predeceased by sisters and brothers Linda Gordon, Ida Poth, Eileen Ostrander, Sylvester Ostrander, Vernon Ostrander and Frank Ostrander. Dorothy spent many years working at Loblaws and also part time at the U.of G. post office before retiring. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff of Riverside Glen in the Erin Community for their special care and love, and to Crestwicke Baptist Church for their continual kindness, compassion and prayers throughout the many years. Pastor Sam McCallum for everything and Mary and Muriel for your weekly visits that were greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph. Friends will be received at Crestwicke Baptist Church, 400 Speedvale Ave. E., Guelph on Saturday, November 12th from 10-11 a.m. Service at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Memorial contributions to the Crestwicke Baptist Church would be appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Dorothy Fulton in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
