FURZE, Rosemary Grace

FURZE, Rosemary Grace - Passed away peacefully in her 94th year, surrounded by her family, at Hospice Wellington on August 3rd, 2021. Predeceased by her husband of almost 70 years Frank Furze. Cherished mother to Roger (Celia), Brian (Cathy), Martin (Kim), and the late Linda. Loving grandmother to Daniella, Lukas, Miranda, Kelsey, Melanie, Matthew, Daniel, and Kylie. Treasured great-grandmother to fourteen. Rosemary grew up by the sea in Cornwall, England. Her family immigrated to Montreal, Canada in 1956. In Canada, she worked as a registered nurse using her kindness and channeling her devotion to care for others. Rosemary and Frank raised four wonderful children together over the years. The family would like to extend a thank you to the Royal on Gordon and to Hospice Wellington for their kind and compassionate care they provided to Rosemary. Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 11 2021 from 1:00-2:00pm at the Hart Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 11 2021 at 2:00pm at the Hart Chapel. Capacity is limited. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, guests must RSVP their attendance through the funeral home website for both the visitation and the Funeral Service. Masks are mandatory and social distancing will be in place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Donkey Sanctuary, The Salvation Army, or Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated by the family.
