It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Aldo Gardiman. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in his 90th year, on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Hospice Wellington.
Aldo was the beloved husband for 65 years to Natalina. Loving father of Flavia and her husband Bert Da Maren and Michelle and her husband Jim English. Cherished Nonno of Christopher (Monica), Nicholas (Mairin), Andrew (Krystle), Joshua, Alexander and predeceased by grandson Noah (2001). He was the great-grandfather of Massimo, Claudio, Luca, Cora and Francesca. Aldo is survived by his brother in Italy Lino Gardiman and will be fondly remembered by his other relatives and friends both in Italy and Canada.
His family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
Mass will be celebrated at St. John's Church, 45 Victoria Rd., N., on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with entombment at Marymount Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
