In Loving Memory of Jadwiga Marianna Gasiorowska

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jadwiga Marianna Gasiorowska (née Gajdecka), who peacefully left this world at her home in Guelph surrounded by her family. Jadwiga (Jadzia) was born in Danovo, Poland, daughter of Albina and Stanislaw, and younger sister of Bogdan. She brought a lifetime of love, joy, and cherished memories to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Jadzia was the beloved mother of Urszula. She was not only a loving mother but also a doting grandmother to Lillian and Carmen. Her family was her pride and joy, and she poured boundless love and warmth into their lives.

Jadzia had a passion for the simple joys of life. Gardening was her sanctuary, where she nurtured vibrant blooms and created havens of tranquility with her extraordinary green thumb. Sewing was another one of her talents, and her handcrafted creations were a testament to her skill and creativity.

She found immense joy in the company of her girlfriends, sharing laughter and stories during their travels and leisurely walks in nature.  As a former treasurer of the Polish Club of Guelph, Jadzia contributed to organizing many social activities for the community. These cherished moments created bonds that stood the test of time.

Jadzia's legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured with her kindness and wisdom. Her spirit will forever be present in the blossoms she planted, the stitches she sewed, and the laughter she shared with her dear friends.

As we bid farewell to our dearest Jadzia, let us remember the love and light she brought into our lives. May her soul rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the beauty she so appreciated in life.

A visitation for Jadzia will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St., Guelph) The Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Parish (98 Alice Street, Guelph) on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 10:30 AM.  Followed by reception at the Guelph Polish Alliance (5 Empire St.) Private cremation services to take place at a later date.

Memorial contributions to the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
