GAZZIRO, Angela (nee Carere)

Passed away suddenly on Monday, September 6th, 2021 at the Guelph General Hospital, surrounded by family at her side, after a long battle with Scleroderma and numerous other health issues.

Angela was born on February 20th, 1956 in Winterslag, Belgium. She was the eldest child of Annunziato and Maria Grazia (nee Silivestro). A few years later, the family travelled to Canada where they eventually became a family often. She is the eldest of eight siblings: Ore, Ron (Joy), Giulio, Nancy (Steve), Dominic, Rose (Jim), and Tony (Trish). Angela was happily married to Guido for 45 years. She is the proud and loving mother to her twins Alessandro (Gabriella) and Nadia. She became a Nonna in 2019 to Axel followed by Levi and loved them dearly. She was also an adoring aunt to many nieces and nephews. She loved her family with all
of her heart and welcomed everyone into her home with open arms and delicious home-cooked meals. She will be remembered for her kind, caring and giving nature.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, visitation will take place on Thursday, September 9, 4:00pm-9:00pm at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St., Guelph, Ontario. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 10 at 10:30am at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St, Guelph. Capacity is limited. Due to COVID restrictions, guests must RSVP their attendance through the funeral home website for both the visitation and Funeral Mass. Masks are mandatory and social distancing will be in place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Scleroderma Society Of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
