GAZZOLA, Jenna Teresa

Beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, zia, niece, cousin and friend, Jenna, in her 35th year, left us far too soon on Sunday, April 17, 2016. She is missed profoundly by her parents Marino and Laurie Gazzola; her sister and best friend Erin Hutton (Greg), and her brothers JD Crowe, Andrew (Stephanie) Crowe, Glen Crowe and Grant Crowe (Amy Koebel); her grandparents Grampy Don and Grammy Crowe; her nieces Isla and Cora Hutton, and her nephew Harrison Crowe; and so many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues. She is predeceased by her mother Lorna (McCarvell) (1994), and her grandparents, Ernesto and Angelina Gazzola, and Bruce and Doreen McCarvell. Born in Guelph, Ontario, on March 22, 1982, Jenna was a bright and beautiful girl from the moment she arrived, with an infectious smile, a brilliant wit and a sparkling sense of humour. She attended St. Michael Catholic School and St. James Catholic High School in Guelph, followed by Brock University for her undergraduate degree and the University of Western Ontario for her teaching certification. Jenna was an outstanding teacher, most recently on staff at St. Charles Adult and Continuing Education Centre in Hamilton, where she was a student favourite. She was a loyal and generous friend, with many lasting friendships from every phase of her life, a wonderful daughter and sister. She lived for her family – especially her nieces and nephew, and her puppies – traveling home from Hamilton to see them whenever she could. We will never be the same without our girl, but we will do our best to live her legacy in the days and years to come. Jenna’s family will receive friends at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Tuesday, April 26th from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, April 27th from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. A vigil for Jenna will take place on Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28th at 10:30 a.m., at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate, 28 Norfolk Street, Guelph. Private Interment.
