Of Guelph, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10th, 2023, in her 97th year.
Predeceased by parents William and Annie Steeves of Shediac Road, New Brunswick. Beloved wife of the late Roberto Gentile (2009) and Thomas McAleese (1971).
Loved mother of Beverley McAleese (Michael) and son Andrew McAleese (Laura) and the late OPP Constable Duncan McAleese.
Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Leyland (Edith), Elton (Rita), Marvin (Doris), Weldon (Anita), Kenneth (Hazel) and Hollis (Bernice), Charlotte (Lottie) (George), Myrtle (Henry), Verna (Frank), Hilda (Judy) (Richard). Loving grandmother of Tom, Seann, Ian, Jason, Brendan and Theodore. Great-grandmother of Graydon, Isabella, Duncan, Amelia, Neela and Hadley. Remembered by Joan Gayton, Joyce Richard, Evelyn Bell of Moncton N.B. and 30 more nieces and nephews.
