Passed away peacefully, at Lanark Heights long Term Care, Kitchener, on
Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Hazel Mary (Devine) Giesler in her 93rd year
was the beloved wife of the late Edward Giesler (2005), they were
happily married for 54 years. Hazel was the loving mother of Edward and
his wife Jean Giesler and Steven and his wife Jackie Giesler, all of
Waterloo. She was the loving grandma of Lisa (Dave), Tammy (Ryan),
Tyler (Sara) and Brandon (Jenn), and will be sadly missed by her four
great-grandsons, Bryden, Colton, Zachary and Connor. Hazel is survived
by her sister Connie and by her sisters-in-law Kay, Grace and Maryann.
Predeceased by her parents James and Marian (Heenie) Devine and by her
four brothers, David, Arnie, Alex and James and by her sister Dorothy.
Survived also by many nieces and nephews. Hazel will be fondly
remembered by her dear friend Lucy. Hazel was a long time member of the
CWL at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate in Guelph.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099
Gordon St., Guelph where the family will receive friends on Tuesday,
June 29, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in
the Chapel on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in
Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. Guests are invited to livestream the
funeral service on Zoom by accessing the link on the funeral home
website.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, guests must RSVP their attendance for the
visitation and funeral service by accessing the funeral home website.
Social distancing will be in place and masks are mandatory.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy
