Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington after a long battle with cancer on Friday, October 11th, 2019 at 5:05 pm, in his 51st year.
Beloved father of Natalie Gilbertson (Lucas).
Beloved son of the late Robert Gilbertson (1977), Frances Edith Stewart (2012) and beloved stepson of Donald Stewart.
Loved brother of the late James Adam Gilbertson (2014) (Jean), Michael (Jamie) Crane, Grant (Gabriella) Gilbertson, Janet (Tim) Hindle, Sandi Dunn (Dan McDermott), Sharon (Dave) Hummel and twin sister Kerri (Craig) Norman.
Beloved brother-in-law of Jamie Dunn (Lynn).
Loved by many nieces and nephews, who knew him as Uncle Dukie.
Beloved best friend to Tim Brown and loved by friends and extended family.
Thank you to all the nurses and doctors from the 4th floor at Guelph General Hospital and a special thank you to the nurses and volunteer staff at Hospice Wellington.
Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
