Of Guelph, passed away at Riverside Glen with family by his side on Thursday, June 15th, 2023.
Beloved husband of Lenore (nee May) for 64 years. Loving father of Cindy (Geoff) Kinnon, Amy (Bob) Lawrence, Julie (Jenny) Gray and Kevin (Tryna) Gray. Loving grandfather of Alex (Lee), Meaghan (Derek), Brendan, Shane, Cody, Mason, and Amelia and great-grandfather to Finlay. Survived by brothers Lionel (Jean) and Bryan and sister-in-law Helen Macfarlane (Peter Bettencourt). Predeceased by siblings Gloria Kressler and Lloyd Gray, and brother-in-law Elwin (Florence) May.
Al was employed by Robinson Pontiac and University of Guelph for many years as an auto mechanic. He attended Dublin Street United Church for 70 years. Al was a member of the Guelph-Wellington Mens’ Club and the Dublin Men’s Coffee Group.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Dublin Street United Church (68 Suffolk St. W., Guelph) from 10 -11 am. Memorial service will begin at 11 am. Reception to follow.
