Passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Mike will be dearly missed by his wife Sylvia Hadaway (nee Oliver); children Michael Hadaway II (Carol) and Sarah Shapka (Dave); grandchildren Michael III, Isabelle, Andrew and Owen; mother-in-law Patricia Oliver; siblings Jim (Elaine), Larry (Judy), Bob (Susan) and Jacqui (Bob); brothers-in-law Allan (Mara), Lee (Lynn); sister-in-law Cindy; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Patricia Hadaway, father-in-law Allan Oliver, sister-in-law Pauline and her husband Stan.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Real Deal Sports Bar and Billiards (224 Victoria Rd. S., Guelph) on May 12, 2018 between 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by Mike's family. Donation cards are available at the funeral home.
