It is with great sadness and an emptiness in our hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Zygmunt 'Ziggy' Hajduk on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at the age of 62.

Born in Sanok, Poland, Zygmunt married Grazyna on August 2, 1980 and they happily celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary last summer. A true love story, they made each other laugh and danced under the stars. His life took him to many corners of the world from Poland to Italy, where he personally met Pope John Paul II in Rome. He dedicated his life to being there for his family.

Zygmunt leaves behind his loving wife Grazyna, daughters Marta and Justyna and his cherished grandson Damian.

'Dad was an amazing storyteller. We would spend hours talking about all the places he travelled, his days as a soccer goalie playing in Poland and Italy. Dad taught me to forever be grateful, to step back and enjoy the simple joys in life. Without his hard sacrifices leaving Poland to give us a better life, I would never have the opportunities I have. He taught me to explore the world and always put family first. Enjoy the simple little things in life, one day you will realize they are the big things.' ~ Marta

Zygmunt's true joy in life was spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his big heart, warm hugs, loving and giving spirit helping anyone in need.

"Fly to the angels, heaven awaits your heart and flowers bloom in your name"
