It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stella Harris. Stella was in her 94th year. Stella was married to Grant Harris who passed away in 1984. She was a long-time resident of Mount Forest.
She will be missed by her daughters Shirley Orleman (Herold Orleman) and Karen Higgins (Richard Trott) and her son, Jeff Harris. Stella was predeceased by her daughter, Debbie Hippe (Ken Hippe) and her son, Len Harris (Mary Harris).
Remembering her are her grandchildren; Tim and Sally Orleman, Deseree and Jeremy Clark, Allan and Mel Harris, Amanda Hippe, Jared Hippe, Sarah Higgins, Meghan Trott and the late Kevin Orleman. Her great grandchildren; Kevin and Steven Orleman, Erin and Alex Clark, and Dylan and Brock Harris, will keep her close in their hearts. Extended family in Mount Forest have very fond memories of Stella.
The family gratefully acknowledges the care and support provided by Riverside Glen, where Stella spent the last several years, particularly the staff of the Arthur neighbourhood as well as Dr. Kennedy.
A celebration of Stella’s life will be held in the near future. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Cancer has touched many members of our family and Stella was a long-time fundraiser.
A tree will be planted in memory of Stella R. Harris in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
