HATCH, Kathleen (Stepien)

With great sadness softened by peace, we announce the passing of Kathleen (Stepien) Hatch in her 98th year on July 05, 2022; 3 days shy of her Birthday. Kathleen (Kay) is now re-united with her husband, Bev (1999) her only son Wayne (2019) and all her family members. Kay was the last remaining sibling of her family; pre-deceased by five siblings Joseph (Dorothy), Ben (Pearl), Lottie (Lawrence), Chester (Eleanor) and Leo (Mary). Survived by her son’s life partner Joanne Vettor, her sisters-in-law Eleanor Stepien, Mary Stepien, and Joan Hatch, her brother-in-law and Ken Hatch. Fondly remembered by many Stepien and Hatch nieces and nephews.

A private service and entombment has already taken place.

A heart felt thank you for the loving and compassionate care from her amazing psws, especially those that have been with us the longest. The ladies helped brighten Kay’s last few years. Thanks also to the staff of Wellington Park, Dr. Choong, Dr. Schaefer, and Bayshore Nurse Shannon who sang the oldies with Kay.
