Passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on Wednesday, March 4, 2020. Ken Hebden in his 71st year, was the beloved husband of Mary (Schuett) Hebden. He was the loving father of Katie, Karla, Eric and Patrick. Ken was the Proud Papa of Dylan, Hana, Gabriel and Aya Panopoulos. Predeceased by his brother Jack (Marg) and by his sister Arlene. He was the dear brother-in-law of Will (Bev) Schuett and of Joan and the late John Schuett. Ken was the lifelong friend of Patrick McDermott. Ken will be remembered as a proud Bishop Macdonnell High School alumnus and as a fixture in the basketball community. Private cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 1-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, March 9, 2020 from 1- 2 p.m. A celebration of Ken's life will be held in the chapel at 2 p.m. A reception in the Hart Fellowship lounge will follow.
