Heffernan – Margaret Janet (Morrison) passed away peacefully at home on
06 July 2021. Margaret Heffernan was in her 74 year. Beloved wife of
late Wayne Francis Heffernan of Guelph. Dear Mother of Dana (Joe)
Leblanc of Yukon, Robert (Alicia) Heffernan of Ontario. Grandmother to,
Jessica Leblanc, Ashley (Anthony) Ray, Adam (Elizabeth) Leblanc, Tasha,
Ceara, and Kalleigh. Great Grandmother to, Harliequinn, Beau, Brooklyn,
Jase, and Everly. Margaret is pre-deceased by her Mother Jane Hannigan
(Morrison, Penney), Father Thomas Morrison. Step-Father Edward
Hannigan. Margaret leaves behind two brothers and Sister. Alex (Judy)
Morrison, Thomas (Sonia) Morrison, Sharon (Stevenson) Whalen, Geraldine
(Joe) Karn, Bobby (Bunnie) Morrison. Daughter in law of late Robert &
Marguerite Heffernan. Brother & Sister in laws to John (Marty-Ann)
Heffernan, Jerry (Chris) Heffernan, Mark (Lisa) Heffernan, and Noreen
Heffernan. Margaret was born in Florence, Nova Scotia, 06 August 1947.
She moved to Guelph with her family in the mid 50’s. Margaret worked at
Guelph Homewood in her teens, Fiber Glass Canada, and Imperial Tobacco
where she worked for 35 years before retiring.
Margaret was a caring woman who would give you the shirt off her back.
She always thought of other before herself. If anyone needed a ride to
an appointment, Margaret was there offering them a ride. Her home was an
open door. You were always welcome to come in for a visit and enjoy a
cup of coffee or whatever was available. A few of her hobbies or
addictions was gambling, taking many pictures, and traveling. Margaret
supported many different charities and organizations by attending Bingo
on a regular basis or the Casino. She loved traveling and spending time
with her children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren. To her Great
Grandchildren she was known as GG Ma. She has traveled all over Canada,
USA, Mexico and Europe . Margaret leaves behind thousands of pictures
that her children must now sort through.

In lieu of flower, Margaret would like any donations be made to the
