HEFFERNAN, Marilyn Doris (nee Stewart)

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marilyn Heffernan on November 26th, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Devoted wife to Ted whom she married on December 13 1972. Loving mother to Owen and Vanessa and proud cat mother to Angel and the late Cora whom she dearly loved. Dear younger sister of June Torry of St. Catharines whom she loved and greatly appreciated.

She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife and mother, caring friend and neighbour who was known as a friendly, compassionate and welcoming person.

Marilyn loved to be in the garden where she tended to flowers and vegetables and was passionate about providing a habitat for pollinators. She enjoyed all visitors to the yard, human and animal alike.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N, Guelph. As per Marilyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of life.
