Of Guelph, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his wife and children, at Guelph General Hospital on Saturday, October 12, 2019, in his 88th year.
Beloved husband of Lillian (nee Korell).
Loved father of Charles (Anita), Danny (Kelly), Sharon (Jim), and Ursula.
Loving grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 3.
Also survived by brother Werner and step-brother Hans.
Will be missed by many friends and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Friday, October 18, 2019 at 1 pm. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Interment at Woodlawn Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of James (Jim) W. Heinisch in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2:30 pm.
