Passed away peacefully on May 18, 2017 at Caressant Care, Fergus at the age of 90 years.
Beloved husband of Rita for 60 years. Loving father of Eric(Kate), Helen Henneberg and Joanne(Mike) Broeckel. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Cherry, Eric, Natasha and Kasper. Hans was a great grandfather of 5. Survived by brother Jacob. He is predeceased by grandson Bryce, sister Karen and brothers Jens, Thorvald, Knud and Erik.
Hans, Rita and family operated Fergus Gardens for 40 years serving the area with fresh produce.
Family and friends may visit at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St., South, Fergus, ON on Friday May 26, 2017 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 1:00pm the same day.
