HILLIER, Claire (nee: Chiasson)

November 29, 1946 - December 17, 2017

Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph. Claire will be greatly missed by her husband John (Jack) Hillier and by her daughters Anita Mooney (Mike) and Lisa Gostlin (Dan) and also by step-son John Hillier. Her grandchildren Michael Mooney, Sarah Mooney, Meagan Gostlin and Ryan Gostlin will also miss her. Claire is survived by her siblings Victor Chiasson (Marg), Georgette Authier (Bob), Steve Chiasson (Kay), Fern Chiasson (Kim), Dina Peacock (Austin), Ginette Duguay (Roger), Francine Allaire (the late Real), Gaston Chiasson (Jacqui), Gaetan Chiasson (Carole), Roger Chiasson (Cindy), Don Chiasson, Ray Chiasson (partner Rhonda Ritchie) and the late Joseph.

Her family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St., N., on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A service to commemorate Claire’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. If so desired and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of St. Joseph’s Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.
