HISCOCK, Sandy Gordon

It is with great sadness that the family of Sandy Hiscock announce his passing in Guelph, Ontario on December 4, 2018, at 70 years of age. Sandy was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and moved to Ontario many years ago. Having an electronic background and attention to detail, Sandy worked in quality assurance at a plant that manufactured printed circuit boards for clients in the domestic, military and space fields.

Leaving to mourn are four sisters and a brother, along with many nieces and nephews. As per Sandy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family service for interment will be held at a later date in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. 

Like so many of us, Sandy always said that his memory was good, but short. However, he was proud of the fact that there was one birthday each year that he could remember…his twin sister’s! Sandy loved the outdoors, grew plants and often fed squirrels, rabbits, and birds by hand. He also housed cats at various times, especially one fondly remembered, named Spazz…need we say more.

We are very grateful for the compassionate care and friendship provided to Sandy over the years, by all the staff and caregivers at Hospitality House, Caressant Care and Riverside Glen.

Rest in peace Brother.
