Joyce passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Guelph General Hospital, at the age of 72 years. She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Jonas Massey (2006). She was the proud and much loved mother of Brett Johnson. Joyce was the dear sister of Marg Deforest. Predeceased by her brothers, sister and in-laws; Doug, Cecil (Mary), Gord (Barb) Hitchcock and Eileen Malody (Edward). She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. A smile will come to mind when watching wrestling, as Joyce was a big supporter of the sport. Her crocheted items and fabulous Christmas baking will be sorely missed. Joyce has been cremated and there will be a graveside service for her at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Acton. Memorial contributions to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
