Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family. Mervin was born in St. Catherine’s, and he was raised in Humboldt Saskatchewan. Mervin was predeceased by his parents Annie and Joe, and his sisters Elsie, Adeline and Sally. He was survived by his loving partner, Meribeth of 37 years. Mervin was the beloved father of Kim and Cory. He will be missed by his sister Verna and his brothers Steve (Liz), and Larry (Dee). Mervin will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Mervin was a longtime resident of Mini Lakes.
A celebration of life will be held for Mervin at the Hart Chapel on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 2-4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Credit Valley Hospital, Cancer Unit. Donation cards are available at the funeral home (519-821-5077).
