Passed away peacefully, surrounded by love at St. Joseph's Health Centre on Saturday, September 9th 2023. Helmut, in his 95th year was the beloved husband of Maria. Loving father of Erwin and Monica. He will be missed and cherished by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Helmut is survived by his siblings Melitta, Edmund and Erwin.
Predeceased by beloved daughter Karhin (2001) and brothers Theofil and Adolf.
Resting at Brombal Funeral Home (formerly Gilchrist Chapel), 1 Delhi Street (at Eramosa Rd), Guelph, where family will receive friends Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 1pm to 2pm. A funeral service will follow in Funeral Home chapel at 2pm. followed by Interment at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Friends are invited to join the family in the Trillium Room of the funeral home for refreshments and to share memories of Helmut following the burial. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
