Teresa Mary Holst (Savoy), 85, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022 in King City Ontario with family by her side. Teresa was the eldest child of the late Arthur and Agnes Savoy (Henri). She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Savoy. She is survived by her sisters in British Columbia, Lonnie Hagerman, Mary Morris, Alma Savoy, and Emilia St. Denis. Dear mother of Kimberley (Hal Stade), and proud devoted grandmother to cherished granddaughter Janna. She was greatly admired for her strength, loyalty and independence. She will be missed dearly and lovingly remembered. Teresa’s loved ones wish to thank the King City Lodge care teams for their compassionate care. Once upon a time an angel held my hand.
She wiped away my tears and helped me understand
Our time on Earth is brief, there are lessons to be learned
Each precious day God gives us, another page is turned.
Every chapter full of memories, times of joy and tears,
Triumphs and defeats throughout every passing year.
God’s called her to his heavenly home, part of his great plan.
Although it may be hard, we all must understand.
Faith is what is hoped for, things we cannot see.
Heaven is promised to all of us if only we believe.
