Of Guelph, passed away on Friday, August 18 2023 at the age of 75.
He will be missed by his wife, Karen (nee McKersie), his children, Allen Howard, Alice Howard, Brock Howard and Virginia Howard (Mark Krasnohorsky) and his eleven grandchildren. He is survived by his sisters Janet Cunneyworth and Virginia Patterson and predeceased by sister Robyn Learmont and brother Gerald Parnell.
Nelson was a familiar face to the people of the Guelph Drop-In Centre as an original volunteer of over 40 years. He saw it grow and helped so many along the way.
Thank you to the amazing nursing and support staff at Whispering Oaks, St Joseph’s Health Centre and the home palliative services of Wellington County.
A memorial visitation will be held at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 7-9 pm.
