Passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday July 24, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Bob Howie of Waterloo in his 80th year, beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Bryan) since September 18, 1964. Loving father of Eleanore Attwell of Guelph, Duane and his wife Christina of Bonfield, Darryl and his wife Liz of Kitchener, Dale of Kitchener, Dean and his wife Lisa of Waterloo and Derek and his wife Angela of Shakespeare. Fun loving papa to 16 grand children and 7 great grand children. Dear brother of Karen Milley of Fergus, Allan and his wife Vicki of Guelph, Paul and his wife Donna of Cambridge, brother in law to Marlene Howie, Martha Bryan and Gord England. Bob is also survived and missed by a number of nieces and nephews, family and a host of friends. Pre-deceased by his parents William Howie and Elsie (Bryant) Howie, step mother Grace (Howie) Newman and brother of Ken, Glenys England, Gord and brother in law Lawrence Bryan and Doug Milley and also great granddaughter Addilynn. The family will receive their friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral and Chapel, 617 King St. N. Waterloo (across from Home Depot) on Sunday July 28, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Cremation has taken place. Remembrances to the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation or the Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family.
