Passed away peacefully at The Ellington, Guelph on April 11, 2016 in her 74th year. Pre-deceased by her husband Maxwell (2002), her parents Ralph and Rachel Tucker, and brother David. Loving mother of Robert (Jennifer), and Mark (Pam). Loving Nana to Eric, Rachel, Lauren, Matthew, Christifer, and Hunter.
Helene enjoyed a career as a nurse for many years in Guelph and Lindsay after graduating from St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Helene was always there to cheer someone up with her special hugs and sense of humour. She will be missed by family and friends alike.
A special thanks to the staff at The Ellington and Dr. Ruddock and his staff for the care Helene has received over the years.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Helene’s life will take place at the Ellington Community Centre Chapel, 168 Metcalfe St., Guelph, on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Private burial of ashes to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
