Lindsay spent her final days at her happy place in Muskoka. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving mother, Cathy McIvor (nee Hurren), her best friend and brother Josh McIvor, and other cherished family members. Lindsay’s brave soul left with a beautiful smile on her face. Her positivity and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. Lindsay was a true WARRIOR who embraced every challenge and obstacle with courage and grace, and inspired others with her confident outlook on life.
Proud mommy to her treasured dog Riley. Loved granddaughter to Geraldine and the late Albert Hurren. Daughter of the late Carl Bryenton and sister to Justin and Jordan Bryenton. Sadly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Special loving bond with our Muskoka families. Lindsay will also be remembered by her Home Hardware Stores Limited family in St. Jacobs, where she worked in the Marketing Department.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, July 22 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. A Celebration of Lindsay’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, July 23 at 11:00 a.m.
Donations may be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, as Lindsay was a strong advocate and often walked to raise funds for research.
