Of Guelph passed away peacefully on January 13, 2021, at the age of 84, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved wife for almost 40 years to Ben who predeceased her in 2000. Loved mother of Elaine (Scott R.) and Lisa (Scott P.), and cherished “Nana” to Kerri (Dan), Kristen (Filip) and Evie. Loving partner of Glyn.
Barb was born in England and emigrated with her family to start a new life in Canada in 1974. She remained close to her family in England and always looked forward to her visits and shopping at Marks and Spencer. Staying close to her British heritage, she was well-known for her family favourites (bakewell, Christmas cake, and mincemeat pie).
Barb loved to entertain and spend time with family and friends. She was fun and not afraid of trying new things. She enjoyed travelling, playing cards and getting together for a glass of wine. A caring and loyal friend, she will be missed by all who knew her.
