It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Inett on April 4, 2024, age 79, at Guelph General Hospital.

Dear sister of William (Gayle) Inett. Cherished aunt to Sandy (Wendy), Jeremy (Mhairi), and Wes. Great aunt to Jacquelynn, Kirsten, Amanda, Anthony and Dalton. Will be missed by honorary sister-in-law Marg and her children Christopher (Tina), Justin (Angie) and Jayme (Jenn). Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Bertha May Inett. Will be missed by all friends, especially Margie, Hélène, Lois and Rob. Her absence will be deeply felt, especially by her dear cat Alice Anne.

Pat worked as a communications writer for the Ministry of Agriculture, and had a passion for writing and reading. She also found solace in tending to her garden, baking treats (especially her minced meat tarts), and spending cherished moments and laughter with friends and family. Pat was always described as a lovely, kind and thoughtful individual, always taking others into consideration.

Her zest for life was infectious, and her enthusiasm inspired all around her. She found joy in simple pleasures like lunches with colleagues and her daily "meeting of the minds" with her brother Bill where they shared coffee and conversation.

Though Pat may have bid farewell to this world, her memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. Private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army Guelph would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences can be made online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com
