INTINE, Joseph Edmond

Posted

Intine MM

It is with great sadness that the family announced the passing of Joseph Edmond Intine on May 28, 2021, at the age of 76 years after a long battle with lung cancer.

He was predeceased by his parents, Pearl and Edmond, and his brother Donald.

Joe leaves behind his loving wife Barb of 45 years, sons Donald (Karen) and James, grandchildren Jessie and James, much loved sister-in-law Kitty and her sons Edmond (Connie) and Robert (Nikki), sister-in-law Rhonda Brownhill and her children Erika and Joshua, and many more nieces and nephews.

He also leaves behind his beloved sister-in-law Carla, brother-in-law Brian, and nephew Lane Furlong. They made themselves available no matter what the situation and helped Joe through this painful journey.

Joe loved life but he loved his wife, family, and horses the most. He spent 40 years in the standard bred industry raising, training, and racing horses, but the highlight of his career was being an owner and watching Courtly Choice win “The Little Brown Jug” in 2018.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051.

Memorial contributions to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Joseph E. Intine in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
