It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother who died peacefully, surrounded by family, at St. Joseph’s Health Centre (Guelph), in the late evening on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Grace was in her 85th year.
Wife of the late Edwin Matthias “Ted” Isard. Loving mother of Nicole, Tara, and Robin (Donna and their son, Evan). Sister of the late Thelma Martin. Auntie to Marlon Cumberbatch.
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to those who were part of her care for the past two years, knowing we could not have completed this journey without your help.
Special mention goes to the doctors, nurses and staff at Guelph General Hospital who helped us through this time with your kindness, and humour. To the PSWs at Arbour Trails and St. Joseph’s Health Centre, we will not forget the genuine love, and compassion, with which you treated our Mom, and the way in which you made us feel like family.
As per Grace’s wishes, cremation has taken place with private internment. Arrangements entrusted to WALL CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 519- 822-0051.
Grace did not want a funeral, so a Celebration of Life ceremony will be planned for later this year.
