It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sherri-Lynn Jaroszko on January 20, 2023, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. Sherri-Lynn was a cherished Spouse to George, an amazing Mother to Chris, Joanna (James), and Elizabeth (Adam), and a loving Grandmother to Hailey, Hannah, Nick, and Katie. Predeceased by her loving parents Lenore and Arthur Perry of Oshawa. She will be missed by her dear family, friends, and neighbours, near and far. Sherri-Lynn will always be remembered for her kindness, love for social gatherings, and being a kid at heart. She certainly was a shining light in everyone’s hearts and we are forever grateful for all the memories we have been able to make throughout the years.

Sherri-Lynn was born in Oshawa on May 3, 1956 and it is here, where she met the love of her life, George. Together, they created a beautiful family while setting roots in Stratford, Winnipeg, and Guelph. She enjoyed trips to the cottage, Niagara Falls, Stratford, and small towns in between. She would often be found on a cruise, shopping in boutiques, or eating funnel cakes at Wonderland with the Grandchildren.

Sherri-Lynn was an inspiration to all who witnessed her health journey along the way as she met each challenge with courage, hope, and determination. The family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to all the healthcare professionals who devoted so much of their time, care, and compassion throughout the past couple of years.

Visitation to be held at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, Ontario, on Thursday, January 26, 5-7 p.m. A celebration of life will be held immediately following at 7 p.m. and a private interment to be held in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington will be greatly appreciated by our family. Donations can be made at the funeral home or online at gilbertmacintyreandson.com.
