It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Hemapala Jayawickrama, a soldier, father, grandfather, and friend. Hemapala passed away on February 20th, at the age of 82, after a long and valiant battle against illness. He is survived by his son Harsha, his daughter Jeevani and his grandchildren Ransika, Selini, Stephanie and Shannon.
Rest in peace, Hemapala Jayawickrama, a true soldier and a beloved member of our community.
The visitation will be held on Friday March 3rd from 5 -9pm. It will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home (1099 Gordon St, Guelph, ON N1G 4X9).
The mass will be held on Saturday March 4th at 12:30pm. It will be held at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate. The address is 28 Norfolk St, Guelph, ON N1H 4H8
