JOHNSON, Gertrude Leonora

Passed away peacefully at age 86 years on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Guelph General Hospital. Loving wife of Sam. Much loved mother of Stephen (Monica), Mark and Melissa. Cherished grandmother of Nathan, Ben, Bryson and Isaiah. Predeceased by her brother Elridge and survived by brother Ernest and sister Erma and their families. Also survived by other family and friends.

Gertrude was known to help anyone in need, was easy to talk to, liked by all, loved her children and would do anything for them. She believed in the best education for her children and grandchildren so that they could succeed and to make Nonna proud. She was an incredible wife to Sam and she is going to be greatly missed.

Friends will be received at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 1 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. when a service in the chapel will be held. The service will be livestreamed on Friday at 1:30 p.m. and the ZOOM link can be found below Mrs. Johnson's obituary at gilbertmacintyreandson.com. A private family interment will take place. Friends are invited to attend a reception in the Hart Fellowship Lounge immediately following the service
