Of Guelph, passed away following a brief illness at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Long Term Care on Nov. 21, 2022 in her 93rd year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Graydon, and her sister, Frances Mitchell (Len). Loving mother of Dan (Mary) and grandmother of Graydon. She leaves behind many dear nieces and nephews as well as sisters-in-law Peggy and Audrey.
Leone was a registered nurse, dedicating many years of service to Guelph General Hospital as night supervisor. She was a devoted member of St. George’s Anglican Church and loved to play the piano. She moved to Tiverton following retirement where she enjoyed peace and tranquility by the lake for over 20 years. She was an active community member of St. John’s Anglican parish in Port Elgin, before returning to Guelph once more.
At Leone’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at Wall-Custance Funeral Home and Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Friday Nov. 25 at 2pm.
