On October 20, 2021, Maureen Johnson (Henry) peacefully passed holding Carol and Joey’s hands. Beloved wife of the late Charles Johnson. Loving Mom of Carol, Barbara, Charleen, and late Kenny, Roger, Mary Lou, and Charlie. Much loved Grandma of 23, Great and Great Great Grandma of many. Predeceased by grandsons Freddie and Nicki. Missed by many nieces and nephews and brother-in-law Walter Johnson. She will be fondly missed by friends she met along the way.
At 102 years old she went out and about and had a great time doing it. She like her afternoon bowls of ice cream.
There will be a private family service on November 6, 2021 at WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL by invitation only.
On May 28, 2022 at 10:30 am, a graveside burial will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park with butterflies released, followed by lunch at Riverside Park. Everyone is warmly invited to attend.
A tree will be planted in memory of Maureen Johnson in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
