Of Guelph, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at The Village of Riverside Glen on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 90 years of age.

Beloved husband of the late Connie Johnson (2006). Dearly loved father of Susan (Brian) Grigg, Cathy (Tom) Sephton, Jamie (Cheryl) Johnson and the late Mark Johnson. Cherished grandfather of Zack and Kyle Sephton and Roarke and Brynn Johnson.  Dear brother to Janet Webber (John – deceased 2013) and Ron (Barb) Johnson. Bill was a long time resident of Guelph, Ontario.  He was a proud graduate of Queens University in Mechanical Engineering and worked at Fiberglass before changing careers and becoming a well-respected math teacher at John F. Ross CVI. Bill appreciated being able to spend his summers at his cottage in Sauble Beach. He enjoyed sailing and was an avid swimmer and cycler up until his mid-80s. Bill was an extremely committed volunteer in his Guelph and Sauble Beach communities, including at Dublin Street United Church for over 25 years and at North Sauble Community Church. He was a skilled bridge player and tossed a mean horseshoe!

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and thanks to the wonderful team at the Village of Riverside Glen for their exemplary and loving care of Bill throughout his residency as well as for their support and care of us during his final days.
