Passed away peacefully at The Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, on Wednesday, January 3rd 2018 in her 91st year. Evelyn will be sadly missed by her sister Hazel Cameron (Cliff deceased). Predeceased by her brothers John Chalmers (Mabel), Bert Hodgins(Babe) and brother-in-law Walter
(Alice), Clayton, Roy( Eva). and sister-in-law
Emma (Clarence) and Edna(Lambert). Also missing Evelyn will be her dear friend Carl Geddes as well as fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by her husband Percy Jonas and by her parents William Chalmers and Vera(Letson). Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home,
37 Church Street East, Elora Ontario on Monday, January 8th from 1-4 p.m. The funeral service will be held at The West Montrose United Church, 42 Covered Bridge Drive, West Montrose on Tuesday, January 9th at 1 p.m. followed by burial in The Church Cemetery.
