Linda Amalia Perosini Jonescu
June 17, 1940 – March 25, 2023
It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Linda Louise Amalia (Perosini) Jonescu on March 25 at the age of 82.
Beloved wife of Don Jonescu for 57 years. Born in South Porcupine, Ontario, she was the daughter of Rina and Luigi Perosini and sister to Delia Zingrone (deceased).
She is survived by children Donald (Sonja), Dave (Teressa), Lisa (Barry) and Stephanie (Martin).
She loved and was so proud of grandchildren Kaitlyn, Madisyn, Nolan, Ellice, Laine, Jack, Matthew, Sophia, Abigail and Charles.
A loving wife, mom, gramma, devoted daughter, teacher and friend. A ruthless scrabble player, a dedicated shopping partner, a mischief maker who was always up for the joke and the person who made everyone feel special and welcome. A woman beyond compare. She leaves an amazing legacy of love for all who knew here. We will miss her deeply.
Celebration of Linda’s life will take place at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel 1099 Gordon St. Guelph. Visition will be Thursday March 30 from 2 – 4pm and 7-9 pm and Friday March 31 at 10-11am. Service will be Friday March 31 at 11 am at Hart Chapel.
